Wondering when your town is holding its Memorial Day parade or if your town has a specific event to mark the holiday weekend?
Here’s a list of towns with set dates and/or times.
-- Amherst -- Memorial Day parade, May 26, 6 p.m. -- Parade starts at the big common in the center of town following its regular route
-- Antrim -- Memorial Day parade, May 29, 9:30 a.m. -- Parade begins at Great Brook School
-- Bedford -- Memorial Day parade, May 28, 1 p.m. -- Parade starts Bedford High School driveway, continues down to County Road up Liberty Hill Road before ending at McKelvie Intermediate School
-- Bennington - Memorial Day parade, May 29, 11:30 a.m. -- Parade begins at the VFW
-- Bow - Memorial Day Ceremony and Community Picnic, May 29, 3pm-7pm -- Ceremony and community picnic to be held at the gazebo on the town common across from the Fire Department on Knox Rd. Parking is at the Bow Memorial School where a shuttle service will provide rides to and from the gazebo.
-- Brookline -- Memoridal Day ceremony, May 29, 9:30 a.m. -- Ceremony held at the town hall's front lawn
-- Claremont -- Memorial Day Parade, May 29, 10 a.m. -- The parade starts at Claremont Middle School and proceeds to the Pleasant Street Cemetery for a brief ceremony. The parade then continues down Pleasant Street and ends at Broad Street park. There will be speeches and the laying of a wreath. Two local families will receive special honors. -- Concord -- Memorial Day Parade, May 29, 9 a.m. -- Parade assembles on Pleasant Street Ext., heads north on Main Street, turns West on Franklin Street, turns south on North State Street, turns east on Capital Street, then turns North on North Main Street ending at the State House Plaza for a ceremony.
-- Colebrook -- Memorial Day parade, May 29, 11 a.m. -- Parade starts near Rite Aid and proceeds down Main Street before ending at the Route 145 intersection for a ceremony to be held near the Mohawk River.
-- Derry -- Memorial Day Parade, May 29, 11 a.m. -- Starts at Hood Commons and ends at Macgregor Park by way of Crystal Ave. and East Broadway Street.
-- Exeter -- Memorial Day Parade, May 29, 10 a.m. -- The Memorial Day parade will start at Swasey Parkway with stops at the bandstand, Historical Society, PEA, Gale Park and will end at the Exeter Cemetery.
-- Francestown -- Memorial Day parade, May 26, 1 p.m. -- Parade begins at Francestown Elementary School and proceeds to Cemetery No. 3 on the second NH turnpike,. Students then walk back to school and the rest of the procession continues to Cemetery No. 2 on Route 136 before heading to Cemetery No. 1 on Main Street.
-- Franklin -- Memorial Day Parade, May 29, 2 p.m. -- Begins at Sanel Auto and ends at the VFW post by way of Central Street.
-- Gilford -- Memorial Day parade, May 29, 10 a.m. -- Parade starts at Gilford Community Church and marches to Pine Grove Cemetery
-- Gorham -- Wreath-laying ceremonies, May 28, 8:15 a.m. -- Ceremonies will be held at the Shelburne Monument on Route 2, the Route 2 bridge over the Peabody River, the Mt. Hayes Cemetery on Promenade Street, the Holy Family Cemetery on Church Street, the Evans Cemetery on Main Street, the Larry Cemetery, the Randolph monument on Durand Road at 10 a.m. and the Gorham Common monument at 11 a.m.
-- Greenfield -- Memorial Day parade, May 28, 12 p.m. -- Line up at 11:30 a.m. at the field above the Greenfield Inn. A luncheon and ice cream social will follow the parade.
-- Hancock -- Memorial Day parade, May 29, 2 p.m. -- Parade assembles at Hancock Elementary School. All veterans, baseball teams, 4-H members and Boy and Girl Scouts are welcome to participate.
-- Hillsboro -- Memorial Day Ceremonies, May 29 -- Leave the American Legion at 7:30 a.m. to honor our deceased veterans at the following locations:
- 8:00 a.m. St. Mary’s Catholic Church Cemetery
- 8:15 a.m. HIllsborough Center Cemetery
- 8:35 a.m. St. Charles & Harvey Cemeteries
- 8:45 a.m. Maple Avenue & Pine Cemetery
- 9:30 a.m. Town of Washington Monument
- 10:10 a.m. Church Street Cemetery
- 10:30am Deering Center Monument
- 10:50 a.m. Appleton & Butler Cemetery
- 11:00 a.m. Bridge Street Bridge (Rt 149)

-- Hooksett -- Memorial Day Ceremonies and Parade, all weekend.
- May 27: 10 a.m. - Members of American Legion will go around to all the cemeteries in town to replace flags on veterans' graves.
- May 28: Memorial Day Parade, noon, Starts on Merrimack Street and proceeds to Veteran's Park for a ceremony. Then leaves the park and continues down Merrimack Street to the bridge for another ceremony. Then continues down Riverside Street to the American Legion post for a final ceremony and then a light lunch for parade participants.
- May 29: 9:30 a.m. - noon - Color guard and firing squad will take part in wreath laying ceremonies at all cemeteries in town.
-- Hollis -- Memorial Day Ceremony, May 29, 5:00 p.m. -- Wreath laying at memorial park then short march to town common where the ceremony will be held. Shawn Jasper, Speaker of the House, is the keynote speaker.
-- Hopkinton -- Memorial Day Parade, May 29, 10 a.m. - Parade gathers in the parking lot on Cedar Street behind the Covered Bridge Restaurant in Contoocook Village. Proceeds to Main Street then loops around the traffic island at the Pine Street, Kearsarge Ave. and Park Ave. intersection. Then ends at the Contoocook Bridge Cemetery. Wreath laying ceremonies will be held at the covered bridge and the civil war stone.
-- Hudson -- Memorial Day Parade, May 29, 2:00 p.m. -- Steps off at 2pm from Hannaford Shopping Plaza, proceeds down Derry Street/Rte 102 to the town common. After a brief ceremony the parade will continue down Library Street and end at Central Street by the American Legion.
-- Jaffrey -- Memorial Day parade, May 29, 10:30 a.m. -- Parade begins at American Legion Post 11 on Webster Street, proceeds to the public library, then to the war memorial on River Street and back to the town common
-- Keene -- Memorial Day parade, May 29, 10 a.m. -- Parade starts on Gilbo Avenue and goes up Main Street to the rec center for a wreath-laying ceremony
-- Lancaster -- Memorial Day parade, May 29, 10 a.m. -- Parade gathers at Soldiers park, beginning with an 11 a.m. ceremony at Soldiers Park and ending at the VFW. There are three stops -- at the Israel River Bridge, the Colonel Cross Memorial across from the post office and the Centennial Park monument -- for wreath-laying ceremonies on the way. The parade then loops around the Country Village Nursing Home and proceeds back to the VFW for a cookout.
-- Lebanon -- Memorial Day parade, May 29, 11 a.m. -- Parade starts on Hanover Street and goes down Eldridge Street toward Colburn Park, with a brief stop on the Hanover Street bridge
-- Litchfield -- Memorial Day Parade, May 29, 10 a.m. -- Begins at the middle school and proceeds down Route 3A to the Fire Department.
-- Londonderry - Memorial Day Parade, May 29, 10 a.m. -- Starts at the high school at 10 a.m. and goes down Mammoth Road to Glenwood Cemetery, then returns to the town common. Ceremonies will be held at both the cemetery and the common. Open house at the American Legion Post 27 will be held afterwards.
-- Lyndeborough -- Memorial Day Parade and Ceremonies, May 28 -- 9:30 a.m observance with Lafayette Artillery at Lyndeborogh Center Church. 10:45 a.m. Procession to Center Cemetery for memorial ceremony. 11:15 a.m. Procession to Fougth Cemetery for memorial ceremony. 1 p.m. Memorial Day procession on Route 31. begins at Central School, proceeds to property just beyond the fire station to turn around then heads to the town commons for a memorial ceremony.
-- Manchester -- Memorial Day Parade, May 29, 2:00-4:30 p.m. -- Parade route begins at the corner of Elm Street and Webster Street and ends at Veteran's Park.
-- Meredith -- Memorial Day parade, May 29, 10 a.m. -- Parade assembles at legion on Plymouth Street, goes down Main Street for a ceremony at the library, then continues on Main Street to Lang Street for a stop at Clough Park by the lake, and then marches back to the legion
-- Merrimack -- Memorial Day Parade, May 29, 11 a.m. -- Parade starts at Rite Aid on Route 3 then proceeds up Baboosic lake Road to the American Legion. Stops planned for memorial ceremonies along Baboosic Lake Road at cemetery and monument in front of Our Lady of Mercy.
-- Milford -- Memorial Day Parade -- May 29, 10 a.m. -- Parade assembles at West Street Cemetery, proceeds down West Street to Elm Street. Stop at Elm Street Cemetery then parade proceeds to the Milford Oval and then to the VFW post at 1 VFW Way.
-- Nashua -- Memorial Day parade, May 29, 10:30 a.m. -- Parade begins at Holman Stadium then goes down Amherst Street, Main Street, Lake Street, and ends at the Elm Street School.
-- Newport -- Wreath Laying Cermony, May 29, 11 a.m. -- Held on the town commons in the area of Park and N. Main Street.
-- North Hampton - Memorial Day Parade, May 29, 10 a.m. -- Parade gathers at the Citizens Bank on Lafayette Road at 9:30 a.m. Begins promptly at 10 a.m. and proceeds to the Fire Department on Atlantic Avenue for a ceremony at the memorial there. Town of North Hampton's 275th Anniversary BBQ to follow.
-- Pelham -- Memorial Day Ceremonies and Parade, May 29 -- Ceremonies held before the parade:
- 9 a.m. -- Veterans Memorial Park
- 9:45 a.m. -- Gionet bridge wreath laying ceremony.
- 10:15 a.m. -- Town Hall KIA Memorial Bench wreath laying ceremony
Town parade steps off from the Village Green at 10:30 a.m. and marches to Gibson Cemetery for a 11 a.m. wreath laying ceremony. Parade then continues to Old Village Square Monument for a wreath laying ceremony then on to the American Legion for wreath laying at the flagpole and a town cookout.
-- Portsmouth -- Memorial Day Parade, May 29, 11 a.m. - Starts at courthouse and ends at south cemetery by way of Islington Street and Market Square. Cermony to be held at cemetery featuring Jason E. Weed, Commander of the USS New Hampshire, as the keynote speaker.
-- Plymouth -- Memorial Day parade, May 29, 10 a.m. -- Parade starts at the armory and ends at the town hall by way of Main Street
-- Weare -- Memorial day Ceremonies, May 29, 10 a.m. -- Ceremony Begins at Weare Middle School. Then another will be held at the cannon in the center of town, then two wreath layings at Pine Grove Cemetery and then Hillside Cemetery.
-- Whitefield -- Memorial Day Parade, May 29, 9 a.m. -- Parade starts at the McIntyre School Apartments and proceeds to the town common for a ceremony
-- Wilton -- Memorial Day Parade, May 29, 9 a.m. -- Parade route starts at the American Legion on Maple Street and ends at the Legion by way of Main Street and back around.
-- Wolfeboro -- Memorial Day parade, May 29, 10 a.m. -- Parade starts with a ceremony at Brewster field and proceeds downtown. There will be 3 ceremonies held on the way at the Carpenter Elementary School, the post office and the dockside memorial before ending at the Cate Park bandstand.
